MP Åkeritjänster is growing and we are now looking for a driven Site Manager for our newly established operations in Västerås.

About the role

As Site Manager in Västerås, you will play a central role in continuing to build and develop our operations in the area. You are responsible for daily operations, customer contacts, recruitment, staffing, and performance follow-up.

The role is both operational and managerial. This means you need to be close to the operations, understand the daily life of the drivers, and be able to build trust with both customers and employees. In the beginning, you may also be out on assignments yourself to get to know the customers, build relationships, and create the right foundation for the department.

You have personnel and performance responsibility for the unit in Västerås and receive support from the headquarters in Borlänge, regional management, and other site managers within MP Åkeritjänster. You follow up on budget, hours, utilization, and quality, and work actively to develop the business forward.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a background in transport and logistics, preferably as a truck driver, traffic controller, foreman, or similar role.

You do not need to have been a site manager before, but you should have natural leadership skills, be comfortable with people, and want to take the next step in your career. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoy having many contact points.

Requirements:

• Driver's license BECE
• YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence for Drivers)
• Driver's card
• Forklift license
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
