DSV Haulage AB (DSV Åkeri) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DSV Road. We are located in 21 cities across the country and transport 8 million packages and freight shipments annually. Our operations consist of pickup, distribution, and long-haul traffic within DSV's domestic network for freight and packages, as well as temperature-controlled goods.

DSV Haulage has approximately 1,100 vehicle units and 1,100 employees throughout the country.

As a Transport Leader at DSV Åkeri, you play a key role in ensuring our production delivers the highest quality. In this role, you are responsible for leading and planning the daily operational work for the drivers in your area.

This role suits you if you enjoy a combination of leadership, administrative planning, and problem-solving. A key part of your work is communication with colleagues and employees to optimize both staffing and vehicle utilization.

As a Transport Leader, you have personnel responsibility for approximately 20 drivers, which includes everything from motivating and inspiring your employees to recruitment, employee interviews, and other follow-up activities.

You report to the Transport Manager Stockholm/Mälardalen. The work is based at our office in Västerås, which is located adjacent to our terminal.

As a person, you are positive and engaged. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where quick decisions and creative solutions are required, while also being structured and understanding the importance of good planning. Furthermore, you are self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and find it easy to collaborate. To succeed in the role of Transport Leader, we believe you also have a leadership style that inspires and motivates, while having a clear goal of what you want to achieve.

In addition to the above, you have:

• Experience in transport leadership.
• Category B driver's license.
• At least some years of experience in a leadership role.
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in long-haul transport is an advantage.
• Category C and/or CE driver's licenses are an advantage.
