What you will do

You are responsible for the maintenance operations within the warehouse, leading, prioritizing, and following up on work to achieve set goals, strategies, and standards for desired technical availability. You have overall responsibility for safety, creating a safe working environment, and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with current laws and regulations. You develop the team in everyday operations, responsible for recruitment, staffing, and competence development through tools such as competence matrices, employee interviews, and development plans. You also drive structured improvement work in line with Volvo Production System (VPS).

As a Department Manager within Maintenance, you work daily together with managers within production and participate in the joint meeting structure and leadership work. You report to the Unit Manager within Maintenance.

Profile Description

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in leading and developing people and operations, preferably within maintenance in an industrial environment. As a person, you are driven, receptive, structured, analytical, and naturally service-oriented. You enjoy working closely with your employees, creating a sense of team spirit, and improving operations together with them.

You have good problem-solving skills and remain calm even in stressful situations. You are communicative in your dialogue and have the ability to reach out to people in your surroundings.

Requirements

• Leadership experience
• Technical university education in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• Experience in structured improvement work, preferably using Lean and/or VPS

It is meritorious if you have led a change process and have experience in warehouse operations.
