Slam Truck Driver (Västerås)

Ohlssons was founded in 1998 in Landskrona and today has approximately 850 employees, operations in around 50 municipalities across Sweden, and a turnover of over 1.5 billion SEK. The company assists municipalities and businesses with services within waste management, sludge and water/sewage, recycling, transport, and contracting. About the role

At Ohlssons, we are currently looking for a Slam Truck Driver with a Category C license for our operations in Västerås. In this role, you will enjoy a varied daily routine out in the field, performing meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future. Your primary tasks will involve emptying and cleaning sludge wells, grease traps, and other facilities for both private individuals and businesses. The role entails a varied day-to-day life where work with both sludge and jetting may occur, depending on daily planning and operational needs.

You will work independently in the field while maintaining close dialogue and good cooperation with your colleagues in the region. This role offers significant freedom under responsibility, with problem-solving and service being a natural part of the job. It is important that the work is performed carefully, efficiently, and in a safe and secure manner. As a Slam Truck Driver, you are an important ambassador for Ohlssons. You will meet many customers in your daily work, which means that good customer service and a service-oriented attitude are an essential part of the job.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Category C driver's license (Category CE is an advantage).
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB).
• Experience in the driving profession, with experience in a similar role being an advantage.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written).
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage.
• Experience with jetting is an advantage.
