Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, four emergency care centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health care unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and the General Medicine Education Centre. Region Östergötland's Specialist Training (ST) in General Medicine is organized by the General Medicine Education Centre (AMC), where study directors and education secretaries coordinate side studies, arrange courses and training, and participate in shaping the ST doctor's education plan. Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job. We believe you are drawn to primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the specialist field of general medicine and can see a future within primary care. As an ST doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision. In addition to participating in ST meetings, you will have the opportunity to participate in education together with other junior doctors, AT doctors, and ST doctors at the health centre.

Vårdcentralen Vadstena is a smaller health centre in strong development! We have recently hired permanent district doctors and work for a good working environment and a strong sense of community, where all employees are important and part of our team. We welcome all new employees and want to be a positive part of the daily lives of the people of Vadstena. Vadstena is beautifully located by Lake Vättern and has an old-fashioned style with narrow alleys and old houses that characterize the city center. There is plenty of culture, as well as sports activities and outdoor life. The whole family thrives in Vadstena, and there are also good commuting opportunities to and from nearby towns, by both train and bus.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you must be able to communicate freely with patients, relatives, and colleagues. If you have not completed AT or have not passed Basic Competence (BT) according to BT, there is an opportunity to complete BT during the first year of employment.

You have good teamwork skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
