We are looking for a permanent Construction Manager and an Assistant Construction Manager within Water, Sewage, HVAC, and Control for the South-East region at Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consulting assignment with a stationing location of your choice between Jönköping, Kalmar, or Linköping.

The assignment can be staffed according to the following alternatives:

Permanent Construction Manager at 100% full-time, or alternatively a Permanent Construction Manager at 50% combined with an Assistant Construction Manager at 50%.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves construction management within Water, Sewage, HVAC, and Control for the South-East region. The assignment includes construction management for operation and maintenance contracts, as well as support to the project manager through administrative assistance, planning, inspections of electrical installations, and the creation of digital drawings and schedules. The Construction Manager acts as Trafikverket's representative on the construction site and is responsible for time, technical, and economic coordination, monitoring, and follow-up of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and document construction meetings and other meetings related to the assignment.
• Perform spot checks and field inventories.
• Check and update facility registers in GUS Maximo.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the status of the facilities.
• Order operation and maintenance measures from contracted contractors.
• Be present at work that affects the function of the facility.
• Construction management in existing contracts for follow-up of ordered activities.
• Respond to incoming customer inquiries.
• Monitor and respond to the project team's shared functional mailbox.
• Keep your own diary.
• Review safety plans, project plans, work preparations, and self-controls.
• Continuous risk inventory for potentially added parts in the operation and maintenance contract.
• Prepare request documents for operation and maintenance contracts as well as reinvestments.
• Perform site inspections.
• Perform and review electrical design.
• Perform and review electrical inspections.
• Review technical documentation prior to the acceptance of new facilities.
• Control preventive maintenance.
• Perform condition assessments.
• Order communication equipment (PLC/NAVA).
• Handle systems - GUS Maximo, Chaos, Project Portal, NAVA.

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

Permanent Construction Manager:

• Documented experience in a responsible or assistant role as project manager, construction manager, site supervisor, or equivalent role title for at least 2 years for electrical installations. Documented experience must be fulfilled within the last 5-year period.
• Education with a technical focus (minimum upper secondary level) or experience that Trafikverket assesses as equivalent.
• Valid BAS-P and BAS-U training.
• Valid training according to TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Roles and competence in procured activities – Contracting and Projecting Services", step 2.1-2.2.
• Hold a valid driver's license for passenger cars, category B.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Requirements for Assistant Construction Manager:

• Education with a technical focus (minimum upper secondary level) or experience that Trafikverket assesses as equivalent.
• Documented experience as electrician/foreman/construction manager/project manager or equivalent for at least 1 year for electrical installations.
• Hold a valid driver's license for passenger cars, category B.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Office package or equivalent.
• Training according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV Competence in procured activities Contracting and projecting services, step 1.

Assistant Construction Manager:
