We are looking for a driven and competent Industrial Electrician for our client Ovako in Smedjebacken. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an stimulating industrial environment together with a competent team characterized by good camaraderie and collaboration. As an Industrial Electrician, you are responsible for varied tasks, ranging from emergency repairs to preventive maintenance. The role requires a structured approach using work orders and governing documents. The position is a direct employment with Ovako.

Responsibilities

• Work with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and control systems.
• Perform both emergency repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work according to work orders and governing documents, with a structured approach.
• Document performed work according to current instructions and routines.
• Contribute to safe and efficient production by supporting and collaborating with your colleagues.

Location: Smedjebacken
Scope: Full-time
Working hours: Daytime or shift work

About you

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and industrial maintenance. As a person, you are positive, flexible, and responsible, with a high safety awareness and the ability to take initiative. You adapt easily to different situations and contribute to a good atmosphere in the work group. To succeed in the role, you must be long-term oriented and see the value in building up your competence over time.

Qualifications

• Minimum upper secondary education in electricity.
• Experience working as an electrician – preferably within industry and automation.
• Good ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Knowledge of Swedish and basic English.

Merits

• Electric safety training (theory and practice).
• Experience with crane and forklift operation.
• Certificate for hot work.
