Glimakra of Sweden is looking for a project-based designer/engineer for our production facility in Glimåkra. This is a project position with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee.

Responsibilities

As a designer/engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and applying the group's standards for design and production drawings, as well as other technical drawing documentation used in production. The work is carried out in close collaboration with production and engineering.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementation of the group's standards for design and production drawings
• Structuring and building drawing catalogs in the drawing library
• Establishing and applying guidelines for naming, drawing headers, and revision control
• Reviewing and updating existing drawing documentation
• Ensuring that drawings meet production requirements regarding dimensioning, tolerances, and execution
• Collaborating with production to ensure that the drawing documentation can be used directly in manufacturing

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with design and production drawings
• Experience from industrial manufacturing, preferably in the wood industry
• Good understanding of production processes and standardized working methods
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Experience with CAD and Inventor
