About Us

Linguista is a business unit within AcadeMedia offering various language services both remotely and on-site. The services offered include mother tongue instruction, study support, and modern languages.

We primarily work with primary and secondary schools, and sometimes within adult education, based on students' varying needs.

Linguista operates in two locations, Stockholm and Gothenburg, where we offer some of our services on-site (mostly in Stockholm) at the schools we collaborate with. Qualifications

We view language teaching as a very important part of student development and goal achievement. Therefore, a qualitative language-developing approach is highly prioritized. We expect you to have a holistic view of student learning and be eager to develop your profession with us. Teacher education with eligibility in the relevant language is a requirement.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves study support in the mother tongue at the primary school level, conducted remotely. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in accordance with the curriculum. As a pedagog, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and support their knowledge development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• The current language of instruction as a mother tongue
• Teacher education or an equivalent academic education with a pedagogical focus
• Experience as a teacher and experience working with remote teaching, along with very good computer skills (G Suite or similar digital environments)
• A formative approach, interest in pedagogical development, and varied pedagogical aptitude
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
