GP Specialist at Vråen Health Centre – Shape the Future of Primary Care

Bra Liv Vråen is growing and is therefore looking for another Specialist in General Practice who wants to help create the best primary care of the future together with us! The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment, but the working hours can be discussed based on preferences.

The Role of the District Doctor

As a district doctor at Bra Liv Vråen Health Centre, you are offered an independent role where you have opportunities to influence your work. The work is varied, involving scheduled and emergency patient visits, supervision of trainee doctors, collaboration with home care services, and opportunities to work at municipal special housing facilities and/or child health centers.

Furthermore, we offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact areas where your competence is valued and stimulated. Continuity is important to us, which is why all doctors have their own patient list. We continuously work on developing our teams and strengthening collaboration between different professions.

You should be able to collaborate with various professions and, through your personal engagement and professional attitude, contribute to high medical quality and security for our population. On-call duties and emergency ward shifts at the Urgent Care Center are included in the role.

Your Future Workplace

Bra Liv Vråen Health Centre has approximately 12,400 registered inhabitants, and we are part of the Bra Liv Health Centres network. We have a close collaboration with Rydaholm Health Centre.

Värnamo is a beautiful and pleasant town where the Lagan river flows slowly by. The town offers most of what one could wish for in a small town, such as restaurants, shops, culture, and sports facilities. There are approximately 22,500 inhabitants in the town center and around 34,600 in the municipality.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Has experience as a district doctor and can play a central role in our medical team and the overall operations.
• Has experience supervising trainee doctors.
• Can work independently and with different professions.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good patient interaction.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve operations together with us.
• Embraces new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and serves as a knowledge resource for colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, interaction, and attitude based on the patient and the situation.
• Wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment through good collaboration with management and colleagues.

A B-class driver's license is an advantage, but not a requirement.
