WHAT

As a Biomedical Scientist in our Clinical Chemistry lab, your main responsibilities include analyzing samples and delivering accurate results on time, as well as participating in improvement work to influence both working methods and processes.

You will be part of a team that jointly manages our analysis instruments for general chemistry, immunology, coagulation, hematological, and blood group serological analyses. At the same time, the work is independent, and you make your own decisions regarding the instruments you are responsible for, as well as performing assessments and technical approval of analysis results.

The role includes shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and nights.

WHO

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained and licensed Biomedical Scientist.
• Have fluent Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Are available to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Experience within clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine is considered an advantage.

WHERE

The position is located at Nyköping Hospital in brand new, modern facilities. In Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine in Nyköping, we are currently about 24 happy and engaged employees, part of Laboratory Medicine Region Sörmland. The team at Unilabs in Nyköping consists of Biomedical Scientists, nursing assistants, and nurses.
