Your Role

As an automation technician, you will become a vital link between production and the R&D team, working close to the operations with a focus on supporting and developing production. You will belong to the Production Development department and work closely with operators, technicians, engineers, and project groups. The role involves varied work where you have the opportunity to influence both working methods and forward development.

Your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Commissioning and follow-up of new equipment after completed tests and handover.
• Optimization of automation equipment and production processes for high availability and efficiency.
• Participation in projects and project preparation related to automation and production.
• Working with programming and preparation in control systems.
• Supporting production with automation and operation-related questions.
• Being the contact person for operators during disruptions and technical issues.
• Contributing ideas for improvements on stamping presses and automation solutions.

• Have experience working in industrial production, preferably with a focus on automation solutions.
• Have knowledge of PLC programming, preferably from Siemens.
• Have good communication skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Fluently speak and write both Swedish and English.
