Job Description

As a nurse at the oncology outpatient clinic, you will follow the patient throughout their entire treatment period, both during curative and symptom-relieving treatment. You work independently as the contact nurse for your patients, thereby establishing a close relationship with them. You are responsible for planning and administering your patients' treatments, planning follow-ups, radiography, etc., and you will quickly develop your ability to make independent clinical assessments.

Patients with severe or serious side effects after treatment also come to the outpatient clinic. These cases usually require an acute assessment and rapid handling. The job also includes, for example, blood transfusions, paracentesis (ascites drainage), thoracentesis (pleural drainage), and other acute interventions.

The Team

The work group is divided into four different sections based on diagnosis. You work in close collaboration with your colleagues as well as the clinic's diagnosis-specific doctors. The employment is at the oncology clinic with placement at our outpatient clinic. The outpatient clinic is open during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Preferably with a few years of experience.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
