Tungelsta School is "the school in the middle of the village", located in a rural idyll in the southern part of Haninge Municipality. Stockholm City is within a convenient commuting distance, approx. 30 minutes by car or commuter train. The school is about a 5-minute walk from Tungelsta Station, and the bus stops right outside the school.

About the position

The position is a full-time role (100%) and includes teaching in 11 classes in grades 6–9, but may also include middle school classes. Additionally, 80 minutes per week are dedicated to the "Bildhybrid" (Art Hybrid), where the school offers extra art education beyond the regular curriculum. In the Art Hybrid, students are given the opportunity for subject deepening, creative creation, and work with different techniques and forms of expression.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and follow up on art education according to the current curriculum.
• Assess and document students' knowledge development.
• Contribute to the school's pedagogical development.

Qualifications

• Certified teacher with eligibility in Art for grades 5–9.
• Good didactic skills and interest in aesthetic learning processes.
• Ability to meet students with different prerequisites.
• Good collaboration skills with a professional attitude towards students and colleagues.
• Well-versed in the school's governing documents.
