GävleDala Mätfix is in an exciting growth phase with several new, long-term projects in Dalarna. We are now looking for several Surveyors who want to help build our future together.

About the role

We are looking for several precise and engaged Surveyors who want to be an important part of our team. In this role, you will perform surveys, quality-assure data, and ensure that our projects have an accurate and reliable foundation. You will work both in the field and in the office with post-processing and analysis.

Most of our assignments are located in Falun and Borlänge, as well as within a radius of approximately ten miles around Avesta and Gävle. We have offices in both Horndal and Borlänge, and we also offer the possibility of working from home. A company car is included to facilitate your work.

Your main responsibilities

• Perform setting out, layout, and control surveys in projects
• Process, analyze, and document survey data
• Work with modern surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser scanners, and drones
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other functions within the project
• Ensure that surveys and documentation follow current standards
• Contribute to the development of routines and digital working methods

Your profile

At our company, we value your personal qualities above all else – it is these that make the difference in everyday life. To thrive and succeed in the role, we would like you to have a background in surveying, geodesy, land surveying, construction, or have acquired equivalent experience in another way. If you have also worked with surveying instruments and software such as Trimble, Leica, Topcon, or AutoCAD, it is a bonus, as is a good understanding of digital workflows.

You simply have good computer skills, a valid driver's license (Category B), and feel confident communicating in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are precise and quality-conscious, and you have a natural ability to find solutions when challenges arise. You enjoy taking personal responsibility and planning your workday, but are also a team player who appreciates collaboration and building good relationships. With your communication skills, you contribute to a positive collaboration within the team.

GävleDala Mätfix is a surveying consultant with a coverage area in Dalarna, Gästrikland, Uppland, and Västmanland. From the mountains to the sea, we offer complete surveying services for both small projects and larger, more complex ones.

We work with all types of assignments within geodetic surveying. Everything from construction and infrastructure layout, to drone surveys of large areas, down to the surveying of machine parts within the industry to tenths of a millimeter.

We work with everything from control surveys of ports in the Baltic Sea, to control & adjustment of lift systems in the mountains, mapping of the deepest mines, quantity adjustments of roads, water/sewage & dam work, to the layout of house bodies and cast-in goods.
