Hospitals West is a department within the Region of Västra Götaland and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Primary Care Hospital, Högsbo Primary Care Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3,000 employees work with us every day to provide good, safe, and high-quality specialist healthcare.

Högsbo Primary Care Hospital offers an exciting workplace where you have the opportunity to work using new methods and will be an important part of innovative forms of care close to the patient. Högsbo Primary Care Hospital is a so-called "smart hospital" where we combine innovative working methods with future IT support to enable high-quality care with the patient in focus. The hospital features a day surgery center and a specialist center with radiology and sampling for adults and children. Högsbo Primary Care Hospital is an important part of the development of primary care in the Gothenburg area.

Our Workplace

At the dermatology clinic, we run a broad general dermatological practice. Skin tumors account for approximately half of the doctor visits. We collaborate with the surgery and ENT clinic at Högsbo Primary Care Hospital. The department is active in regional research projects and has a high level of ambition regarding new working methods and the use of digital technology. Assessment of teledermatology referrals is done in collaboration with doctors from the Skin and Sexually Transmitted Infections department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

Responsibilities

The work includes outpatient clinic duties and, upon interest, small-scale polyclinic surgeries for skin tumors. The work is carried out in a team with other staff.

Qualifications

Specialist physician in dermatovenereology, preferably with broad clinical experience. We value knowledge, teamwork skills, and interest in practice development. You should have an interest in working digitally and be willing to test new working methods.

Suitability will be given great weight.

Full-time or part-time, as agreed.
