The Company...
Åkerblads Hotell & Gästgiveri is a family-owned business that has been in the family's possession since the 1400s. Today, the 19th–22nd generation of the Åkerblad family works with a strong team of 50 people to offer guests an unforgettable experience.
Åkerblads Hotell & Gästgiveri consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms as well as a Guesthouse offering locally produced ingredients of high standard and class, suitable for both weekend guests and conference attendees. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and focuses on continuous development, where quality is one of the cornerstones.
Our latest addition to the company is our Spa Department, where we offer 3 therapy rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own jacuzzi and sauna. The spa department also features a newly built section with an outdoor spring and lounge area, where the pool bar offers refreshment for guests. The gym, sauna, and exclusive changing rooms now have company with an entirely new pool area.
Your Responsibilities...
As a receptionist, you work in the hotel's reception and serve as the company's voice and face to our guests. You and your colleagues have good insight into the booking status and are responsible for ensuring that conference, group, and private bookings are handled professionally. You work together with the team on all common tasks in the reception. The reception team works not only close to the owner family but also close to the hotel's department managers – essentially the hub of the network. Experience with the booking system Jupiter is advantageous, though not a requirement. Your working hours vary in terms of both times and days. The hotel reception is open every weekday and on holidays, but not during nighttime hours.
About You...
You do not need previous experience working in a hotel reception, although it is seen as an advantage. The most important thing for us is that you have a positive attitude and a passion for working with people, and that you are part of making our guests' days as special and memorable as possible.
Good language skills in Swedish and English are required. Other languages are seen as advantageous. The most important thing for us is that we find the right employee, and we believe you recognize yourself in the following: You are structured, flexible, and good at taking initiative. You take great responsibility for ensuring that the meeting between you and the guest is professional and personal. You are curious, patient, and have a solution-oriented attitude. Additionally, you always have a cheerful mood and a large portion of common sense. You create engagement, joy, and pride, and your colleagues respect you for being considerate and driven.
Information...
We are looking for you and offer a supplementary employment during the summer months, appointed according to agreement. For us, the start date is not the most important factor, but rather finding the right employee.
