Mother Tongue Teacher in German
We are currently seeking a mother tongue teacher in German for on-site instruction at a primary school in southern Stockholm. This is a part-time position with a workload of 2 hours per week. The initial duration is 12 months or longer, with the possibility of a permanent contract for qualified teachers.

Our services include mother tongue instruction, study guidance, and modern language teaching. We primarily collaborate with primary and upper secondary schools, but also work with adult education based on students' varying needs.

About the Job
In your role as a mother tongue teacher, you will:
- Take responsibility for and have insight into student results, meaning you are attuned to each student's prerequisites and unique needs.
- Engage in relevant competence development to grow and develop professionally.
- Hold high expectations for students' ability to develop.
- Capture and stimulate students' curiosity, interest, and learning.
Responsibilities
The work involves teaching mother tongue at the primary school level and is conducted on-site at a school in southern Stockholm. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in accordance with the current curriculum. As a pedagogue, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and actively support their knowledge development.
Your Profile
We view language instruction as a crucial part of student development and goal achievement. We expect you to have a holistic view of student learning and be eager to develop professionally with us. We are looking for someone who has:
- Current teaching language (German) as a mother tongue.
- A teacher education or an equivalent academic education with a pedagogical focus.
- Experience as a teacher and experience with remote teaching.
- Very good computer skills (G Suite or similar digital environments).
- A formative approach and an interest in pedagogical development.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
Other Information
We apply the collective agreement between Almega Educational Companies/Service Unions and the trade unions Unionen/SI. Upon employment, an extract from the criminal record will be required. Personal suitability is of great importance. Only qualified teachers can obtain a permanent contract.
