Registered Nurse for Municipal Primary Care on Öland – Summer Job with Free Accommodation!

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and wish to work part-time or full-time during the summer. Within the municipal primary care, you will be part of a positive team working to develop care in the patient's home environment. You will be responsible for patients in ordinary housing and/or in care and nursing homes.

The Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's social care, including:

• Elderly care
• Municipal Primary Care
• Individual and family care
• Care for people with disabilities
• Administrative unit

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in the municipal primary care in Borgholm Municipality, you will work together in multidisciplinary teams with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, and nursing staff. The municipal primary care is divided into three geographical team areas: north, middle, and center. The teams work with both ordinary housing and special housing. In Borgholm Municipality, the municipal primary care has a well-established collaboration with Borgholm Health Center/Home Hospital and the ambulance service.

The work consists of routine and advanced tasks for a nurse within home healthcare and elderly care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Registered Nurse/Community Nurse, preferably with additional education or experience in home healthcare, elderly care, palliative care, psychiatry, or open healthcare.
• Confident in the nursing role with professional experience within healthcare.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Category B driver's license is required.

Before employment, you will need to provide an extract from the criminal record register with reference to: The Act on Register Control when Working in the Home for Elderly Persons or Adults with Disabilities.
