Linguista is a business unit within AcadeMedia offering various language services, both remotely and on-site. Our services include mother tongue instruction, study guidance, and modern language teaching.

We primarily work with primary and upper secondary schools, but also within adult education based on students' varying needs.

Linguista operates in two locations, Stockholm and Gothenburg, where we offer some of our services on-site (primarily in Stockholm) at our partner schools. About the Job

In your role, you will:

Qualifications

We view language teaching as a crucial part of student development and goal achievement. Therefore, a qualitative, language-developing approach is highly prioritized. We expect you to have a holistic view of student learning and be eager to develop your profession with us. A teacher education with eligibility in the relevant language is a requirement.

Responsibilities

The work involves mother tongue instruction at the primary school level, delivered remotely. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in accordance with the curriculum. As a pedagogue, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and support their knowledge development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current teaching language (Estonian) as a mother tongue.
• Teacher education or an equivalent academic education with a pedagogical focus.
• Experience as a teacher and experience working with remote teaching, along with very good computer skills (G Suite or similar digital environments).
• A formative approach, interest in pedagogical development, and varied pedagogical aptitude.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
