The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home help and home healthcare, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

We have five care and nursing homes located in different parts of the municipality. You will find Solrosen and Ryttershov in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-rich outskirts of the municipality.

Job Responsibilities

Your most important task is to ensure that every individual receives the care and nursing that corresponds to their needs. Here, the care recipient is always at the center, and good treatment is a matter of course in everything we do.

You will have a varied job with a fine balance between personal responsibility and close collaboration. To provide the best possible support, you work in a team together with colleagues and other professionals within elderly care. Together, we create the conditions for our care recipients to have an active, secure, and meaningful daily life, with the possibility to live as independently as possible.

The work includes care and support measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) as well as delegated healthcare tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). In your role, you support the care recipient in daily life through personal care, meal assistance, and social interaction. You are also involved in various forums such as APT (Assessment of Needs), team meetings, and deviation meetings. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to people and want to work in an operation where every day makes a difference. We are currently seeking assistant nurses for two permanent positions.

If you have previous experience from care and nursing, especially elderly care, we consider it highly meritorious. Knowledge in psychiatry is also a big plus. You thrive working independently, are happy to share your experiences, and see collaboration as a natural part of everyday life. Flexibility comes naturally to you, and you appreciate a job where no day is like the other.

In Ulricehamn Municipality, language skills are a strength. It is valuable if you speak multiple languages, but you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are confident in documentation and have good computer skills. The working hours are varied and include days, evenings, and weekends, which suits you.
