On behalf of Kjell & Company, we are now looking for a Distribution Planner who wants to step into a key role in a developing team.

In the role of Distribution Planner, you will become an important part of making the whole picture fit together, from the central warehouse to the store, and contribute to creating a more accurate and efficient flow of goods.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Distribution Planner, you work closely with demand planning and supply chain with a clear responsibility to monitor, analyze, and optimize the flow of goods throughout the chain – from purchasing to the store.

You are not just an executor, but a key player in identifying patterns, highlighting risks, and creating the right conditions for business decisions.

You will among other things:

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels in both central warehouses and stores

  • Ensure balance between availability and capital tie-up

  • Identify deviations in flows, inventory situations, and sales – and act on them

  • Create, quality-assure, and develop reporting related to inventory, sales, and margin

  • Work closely with planners on issues regarding campaigns, allocation, and redistribution between stores

  • Monitor deliveries and ensure that the flow works as planned

You will become an important part of creating structure and stability in operations – while gradually taking on more analytical and business-oriented responsibility.

ABOUT YOU

We believe you have a few years of experience within supply chain, logistics, or retail – and want to take the next step.

You are confident in operations but driven by understanding why things happen, not just what happens. You like to work in a data-driven manner and have the ability to see both details and the big picture.

We would like you to:

  • Have 2–4 years of experience within supply chain, inventory management, or planning

  • Be accustomed to working in Excel and handling larger data sets

  • Have a good understanding of goods flows, inventory balance, and availability

  • Be structured, precise, and take responsibility for your deliverables

  • Communicate clearly and dare to highlight risks and deviations

It is an advantage if you have worked in a retail environment or close to stores/central warehouses.
