Are you an inside sales professional with an eye for detail and customer service?

We are looking for a proactive and organized team player to join our Inhouse Sales department, focusing on group and meeting bookings. As part of Inhouse Sales, our team is responsible for the sales process of group, meeting, and event bookings for eight of our hotels in the north, from Gävle up to Luleå, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

You drive business from start to finish and collaborate with the necessary functions as needed. By efficiently driving leads into the pipeline and handling incoming inquiries using defined tools, you work towards achieving ambitious sales targets. A successful inside salesperson works focused, maintains a high pace, and loves closing deals. Your role is clearly sales-oriented, requiring a high level of customer contact via phone, email, and web inquiries, as well as some face-to-face meetings. You act quickly, accurately, and in a customer-friendly manner to drive business toward closure. At the same time, you carefully document all efforts and deals in the current systems. Are you customer-focused, resilient, and proactive with an administrative flair? Then you have great prerequisites for succeeding in your new role. Do you have inside sales experience from the hotel industry with good results to show? If so, this is the role for you.

Your responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming inquiries and guide them through the sales process.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to match customer requests with our offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with our Revenue department to ensure optimal sales strategies.
  • Be part of a dynamic team striving to sell the right business at the right time.
  • Opportunity for site visits with customers and building relationships with the clients you interact with closely.

Location:

Your physical workplace is at our shared sales office located at Clarion Hotel Umeå. You are part of a team of inside sales professionals and report to the Director of Inhouse Sales.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for sales with the customer in focus.
  • Has excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Has good knowledge of and experience with sales support systems and related tools.
  • Has experience in hotel sales or event planning is a plus, but attitude and a strong desire to make good business are more important.

Permanent position, Full-time 100%.
