We are currently looking for positive and enthusiastic wellness instructors for Storsjöhallen in Holmsund. At Storsjöhallen, we offer varied group fitness classes in different formats suitable for everyone. Storsjöhallen is a wellness facility with a swimming pool, gym, and group fitness. Our largest group fitness offering is in the studio, but we also offer water-based group training. We have both LesMills classes and classes created by the instructors themselves; right now, we are looking for new stars to join the team – regardless of the concept!

Your responsibilities

The role of group fitness instructor involves leading, inspiring, and instructing our members in a pedagogical and safe manner. You stay updated with new training forms and constantly strive to develop in your role as an instructor. We are looking for someone who can lead 1–2 fixed classes per week in the evenings and/or on weekends.

About you

We are looking for someone who wants to become part of our wonderful instructor team and is passionate about motivating others to exercise, as well as being part of Umeå Municipality's work for the public health of its residents. You are a driven, responsible, and self-motivated person who enjoys being challenged and developing. Previous experience in leading and instructing group fitness classes is desirable, but not a requirement. Do you lack formal training but are the right person for the role? Then we will ensure you receive the right education!

Currently, we are looking for people who can lead the following sessions:

• Aqua (various forms)
• Yoga (various forms)
• LesMills concepts
