Shape the future of React applications at Subtonomy in Stockholm with significant technical influence.

Do you want to focus on frontend development in React while building services with clear societal benefit? At Subtonomy, you will play a central role in developing the company's web applications using React. You will have great opportunities to influence architecture, user experience, and technical decisions alongside a competent team. Here, you will develop solutions used by the rescue services in search and rescue operations to find missing persons, while also building services for some of the largest mobile operators in the Nordics.

What you will do here

• Develop modern web applications in React
• Design and structure React flows and component solutions
• Work closely with other developers regarding code structure, architecture, and technical decisions
• Contribute ideas regarding UI and user experience
• Collaborate with backend developers in Java and Scala to create stable holistic solutions

Your team and workplace

You will become part of a small and agile company with approximately 25 employees, the majority of whom work in development. The team consists of both senior and more junior developers, and the culture is characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and lack of hierarchy. There is a strong interest in technology and genuine engagement in building smart solutions together.

Frontend is an important focus area moving forward, and you will work closely with other developers to discuss solutions, structure React code, and drive development forward.

Subtonomy works agilely in three-week sprints with daily stand-ups and offers great flexibility regarding where you work.

About you

We are looking for you who have several years of experience with React development and have been involved in making decisions regarding frontend architecture and how modern web applications should be built. You have a strong interest in frontend, user flows, and technical solutions that create good user experiences.

You thrive in an environment where people collaborate closely, help each other, and drive technology forward together. We also believe that you are proactive, solution-oriented, and enjoy discussing new ideas and improvements. Experience with backend development in Java or Scala is an advantage, but frontend will be your main focus.

Since the role is security-classified, you must be a Swedish citizen. You also need to be comfortable communicating in English, as English is used in code, documentation, and parts of daily communication.
