School Doctor for Nordanstig Municipality – Make a Real Difference!

Do you want to work as a school doctor in a school environment where you make a real difference? We are now looking for a school doctor for the students in our municipal schools, with a total of approximately 850 students.

About the Role

As a school doctor, you are part of the Student Health Services' Medical Interventions (EMI) and work closely with our school nurses. You will become an important part of the work that all professions within student health services perform to promote health, prevent illness, and create good conditions for learning and development.

Duties include, among other things:

• Vaccination assessments
• Growth assessments
• Back checks
• Medical investigations
• Issuing general directives for medication treatment within EMI

We are looking for someone who puts the student first and has a professional, secure, and respectful approach. You are structured, responsible, and have a good ability to work independently. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a good work climate.

You are receptive, flexible, and solution-oriented, with good self-awareness of your professional role and confidence in seeking support from colleagues when needed. You communicate clearly and have an easy time building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Qualifications

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine, child and adolescent medicine, or child and adolescent psychiatry.

You have a genuine interest in the health and development of children and adolescents. You have good communication skills and can express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are computer literate (our documentation takes place in the PMO medical record system).

Meritorious

You are welcome to have previous experience working as a school doctor and have additional specialization in school health care.
