ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant for our client in Bollnäs during the summer. In this role, you will always have a colleague by your side as the client is granted double assistance. The work is scheduled both on weekdays and weekends. The scope of the position and schedule will be agreed upon between you and the project manager.

The working hours are as follows:

• 07:00 - 19:00

We would prefer that you can start the introduction immediately or as agreed.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a happy and thoughtful 13-year-old girl who needs support and help with various daily tasks. The duties include helping with transfers, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, eating, daily activities, and medication. During the day, you will work with her at school, and during other times, the work is based at home. She lives with her mother and father every other week. Furthermore, she lacks verbal language and has limited communication skills. She uses communication aids. You will mostly work together with a colleague as the girl is granted double assistance for most of the day. Finally, she loves playing with her siblings, going to school, swimming, and listening to music.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Our client is looking for someone who is positive, warm, and thoughtful. Furthermore, you should be responsible, calm, and confident. It is important that you are sensitive to the girl's needs and can give her the time and patience she needs when she wants to show or tell something. We view it positively if you have previous experience working with children. We do not require you to have worked as a personal assistant before, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you have a driver's license as the assistants drive the girl in the family car, among other things.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
