Do you want to help build the future data-driven organization in an international company within the workwear industry? Blåkläder is now looking for a Master Data Lead responsible for developing and ensuring high quality, structure, and governance within master data. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational execution and is central to the company's investment in a modern data platform and future AI solutions.

About the role
As a Master Data Lead, you work cross-functionally close to the business – from product development and logistics to sales and marketing – and become a key person in creating a single source of truth. You belong to IT/E-commerce and report to the CIO, with an important role in the IT leadership forum. Your main responsibilities are:

• Own and further develop master data governance, data quality, and structure.
• Ensure that master data is correct, consistent, and business-adapted.
• Define and implement processes for data validation and lifecycle management.
• Work with data mapping, data models, and translation tables between systems.
• Provide advisory support in data-driven changes such as system implementations and acquisitions.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, external consultants, and the business.
• Contribute operationally to technical solutions and data platform work, including AI-related initiatives.
• Use AI to streamline processes and improve data validation and data flows.

Who you are
We are looking for someone who naturally combines structure and analytical skills with business understanding. You thrive in a changing and entrepreneurial environment where you have the opportunity to drive development forward together with others. You have experience working with master data, data governance, or data platforms and understand how quality-assured data contributes to business analysis and value for the business. We would like you to have:

• Experience with master data governance, data engineering, or similar areas.
• Good understanding of business processes and business development.
• Experience with data platforms such as data warehouse or data lake.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and relevant regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify quality issues.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• It is an advantage to have technical skills in coding, as well as experience with AI or product data work.

As a person, you are self-initiating, curious, and solution-oriented. You build trust, collaborate effectively across functions, and have the ability to balance structure with flexibility.
