L.O.A.B. is a leading agency company specializing in high-tech machinery for the wood industry. We represent several of Europe's top manufacturers and deliver innovative solutions to customers in Sweden, Norway, and Latvia. With a strong market position and extensive experience, we are one of the largest suppliers to the sawmill industry in the Nordics – and we are continuing to expand into the processing and finishing of sawn timber. We are located in modern premises in Sörby, central Örebro.

As our new technical sales representative, you will play a central role in strengthening and developing our offering within the wood processing industry. You will represent our European agencies and work closely with customers such as pallet manufacturers, planing mills, component manufacturers, and other processing industries. The products in focus are scanning and cutting equipment for the processing industry. Here, technology, business development, and customer relations are combined in a role with significant autonomy.

You will report to the CEO and become part of our dedicated sales team of six technical sales representatives. The role involves frequent business travel, primarily in Sweden and Norway, but also to other parts of Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and provide qualified advice regarding machinery for wood processing – always with the customer's needs in focus and in close collaboration with our suppliers.
  • Lead investment projects from idea to installation: investment calculations, technical documentation, quotations, schedules, and coordination.
  • Support and develop aftermarket and spare parts sales.
  • Conduct customer visits and build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Travel throughout Europe with customers for supplier visits and technical walkthroughs.
  • Actively contribute to our corporate strategy and the development of the processing segment.

Who are we looking for?

Our future colleague has experience in B2B sales, preferably within machinery, technology, or industrial solutions. You are used to working independently based on a structure and are truly driven by creating business and building relationships. Our sales cycles can sometimes be quite long, so patience and endurance are important qualities for the role. You are curious about the customer and the solutions and have an easy time building trust. Customer focus is extremely important to us; it is natural for you to "walk an extra mile" to ensure the customer feels satisfied. Some sales administration is also included in the role, where we use MS Business Central.

To thrive in the role and fit in with us at L.O.A.B., a lack of ego is important.

You have good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Knowledge of German and/or Italian is an advantage but not a requirement. A valid driver's license (Category B) and a willingness to travel frequently for work are mandatory.
