Öhn School is located in the countryside with nature right at your doorstep and has access to ski tracks, an ice rink, and its own school forest.

During the 2026/27 school year, Öhn School will be divided into four classes: F-1, grades 2–3, grade 4, and grades 5–6. The operation consists of approximately 60 students, and the operation also includes Fyren's after-school center.

The school has a playground that invites to creative play. Here you will find, among other things, a zip line, two football fields, outdoor ping pong tables, a bandy court, and basketball hoops, as well as proximity to the forest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

If the necessary decisions are made, we are now looking for a teacher in after-school centers/after-school pedagog to the principal's area Öhn Resele principal's area, with placement at Öhn's after-school center.

In your professional role at Öhn's after-school center, you will be responsible for creating good conditions for learning throughout the students' entire day at school and working to develop the students' abilities, academically and socially, in accordance with the governing documents.

You will serve both in the after-school center and in the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher in after-school centers or a certified after-school pedagog, preferably in combination with subject qualifications such as music, sports, or other subjects that can be meritorious.
• are well acquainted with the school's and after-school centers' governing documents and have the ability to translate them into practice in an enjoyable and clear manner.
• are engaged and focus on the student's development and learning.
• are sensitive to the context you are in.
• have good communication skills.
• are a secure person, good at collaborating, and a natural leader for the student group. You value good relationships and good collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

Requirement: Driver's License Category B.

For this position, presenting an extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
