Are you a structured and social technical property manager who thrives on customer contact? We are currently recruiting on behalf of Riksbyggen for a reliable individual to cover a parental leave position, where you will have overall responsibility for the technical operations of an exciting commercial property portfolio.

About the role

As a Technical Property Manager at Riksbyggen, you will step into a central role focused on the ICA agreement, which covers 10 commercial properties spread across northern and southern Stockholm (including Åkersberga, Sollentuna, Barkarby, and Bromma).

The role involves maintaining stable and high-quality management during the regular manager's parental leave. Your task is to be the operational link between property owners, tenants, and operational staff. The role focuses on technical management, maintenance, and projects – no commercial responsibility for rent negotiations or contract writing is included.

This is a role to cover a parental leave position. The assignment runs from early July 2026 until the turn of the year, with a good chance of extension in January 2027. You will be employed as a consultant by Academic Work and work on assignment for Riksbyggen.

Responsibilities

The role means you are the hub for the technical management of commercial properties, responsible for driving smaller projects, coordinating resources, and maintaining good relationships with property owners and tenants.

  • Daily contact with property owners and tenants. You listen to needs, handle feedback, and translate them into delivery.
  • Ensure that deliveries in daily agreements (cleaning, technology, installation) are met and function frictionlessly. You have the mandate to adjust deliveries within the framework of the agreement.
  • Responsible for smaller technical projects (e.g., maintenance measures), from preparing quotes to leading the implementation.
  • Handle invoice flows, participate in operational meetings, write meeting minutes, and ensure that authority inspections are carried out.
  • Order services from subcontractors and coordinate internal resources from Riksbyggen.

We are looking for you who

  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in property management with broad building technical competence.
  • Have experience with quotation work and project management.
  • Have good communication skills to build relationships with tenants and property owners.
  • Act quickly and have strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Hold a B-driver's license and have access to your own car.
  • Are accustomed to administrative work and working in various IT systems.
