About the role
You are the hub for the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team consisting of care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you can give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the facility's team leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our team leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.
We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you to take is "Leading without being a manager".
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-implement routines, guidelines, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.
As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.

About Villa Östergård
Villa Östergård is a short-term care facility focused on rehabilitation. It is a short-term care facility with 54 places. We receive patients who need rehabilitation after fractures, surgeries, rehabilitation after stroke, and recovery after hospital stays. Our work is guided by a salutogenic approach where daily life rehabilitation is a large part of the day. We offer short-term care to those aged 40 and above who need care and support in various forms. The quality of our care arises in the meeting between the staff and the residents. Every day, in every moment.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a registered nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years within elder care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have broad knowledge of different diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
