We at Haninge Municipality are in the midst of one of the most significant transformations in our history. We are building a new city, and we are now looking for a teacher in Mathematics and Swedish as a Second Language who wants to be part of our forward-looking team.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a high school teacher in Swedish as a Second Language and Mathematics, and preferably with additional subject competencies. You have experience working with students who need extra support in their schoolwork as well as social development.

You will be part of a team working closely together, where student goal achievement is always in focus. All students have an individual study plan with set goals, which places high demands on your teaching regarding quality, structure, flexibility, and the ability to support students' subject knowledge and social skills simultaneously. You must also have the ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians. Standard teaching duties such as planning, conducting lessons, follow-up work, mentoring, and participating in school development are included.

Qualifications

You must have the qualifications and teacher certification for Swedish as a Second Language and Mathematics at the upper secondary level. Additional subject competencies are meritorious.

You have experience working with students who require various adjustments, meaning you need to be flexible, creative, proactive, and resilient. The student's needs are always at the center. Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and on upper secondary introduction programs is considered an asset.

Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

You have experience working cross-subjectively in teams with a holistic view of student learning. The work requires very good collaboration skills with your colleagues in the team.

Conditions

Permanent employment with a monthly salary based on agreement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
