We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Project Quality Engineer for an exciting assignment within an international and technically advanced industrial operation focused on quality, innovation, and sustainable development.

The company operates within the automotive and railway industries and is a global supplier of technical systems, components, and service solutions for rail-bound traffic, with specialist expertise in braking systems.

About the role

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring high quality throughout the entire project process. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams, driving quality issues from early project phases through to final delivery.

You will become part of an international operation where technology, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the forefront.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer communication and handle quality-related issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
  • Lead quality investigations and handle complaints through technical analysis and structured problem-solving.
  • Contribute to preventive quality work in the early stages of projects to reduce deviations in production.
  • Ensure lessons learned are fed back and implement improvement measures within the organization.
  • Analyze quality data and statistics, such as PPM, NCR, and COPQ, to support improvement efforts and decision-making.
  • Participate in the development and optimization of quality processes and working methods.

We are looking for someone with

  • An engineering degree, preferably in production technology, mechanics, or electronics.
  • Experience from manufacturing industry. Experience from automotive, railway, or maintenance operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality methods and tools such as QRQC, APQP, FMEA, FTA, 8D, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to read drawings.
  • Experience with MS Office and working with quality-related data and tracking.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • A structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
