Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist, you will become a key person in the team where you:

• Work with assessments, treatment, and follow-up in homes and residential facilities
• Contribute your expertise in interdisciplinary teams
• Drive rehabilitative interventions and work based on the individual's needs and resources
• Have the opportunity to influence working methods and the development of the operations

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed occupational therapist
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Has the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• Has experience from municipal healthcare (meritorious but not a requirement)

The Social Services Administration

With its approximately 700 employees, the Social Services Administration runs a broad operation to ensure that our residents receive the support and assistance they are entitled to. The administration operates under the Social Services Board and is responsible for care and support for the elderly and people with physical and mental disabilities, as well as support, counseling, and other measures for children, young people, and adults. The work of the Social Services Administration is regulated by laws and ordinances, primarily the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS).
