More than half of the education time is spent on work-based learning (APL), giving our students practical experience, confidence in their professional roles, and a head start on the job market. Vocational High School Sollentuna is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Electricity and Energy. You who have at least five years of work experience from the electrical industry are also welcome to apply. Here, students learn their trade from the ground up on real job sites with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with future electricians. More than half of the students' education time takes place at a workplace, giving them a solid foundation and an advantage on the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Electricity and Energy, or alternatively has at least five years of experience from the electrical industry and a strong drive to teach and supervise students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a B driver's license and preferably access to a personal car.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience within the electrical industry, along with a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of electricians. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not mandatory.
