Environmental Worker / Driver C-License – Evening Shift

Are you looking for a social, active, and important summer job?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, likes large vehicles, and holds a C-driver's license along with a valid YKB (Swedish certification for drivers of waste collection vehicles).

In preparation for the summer, we are now seeking environmental workers/drivers for evening shifts for our operations in northwestern Scania.

About the position

Working hours are Monday to Friday between 14:30–23:00.

The role primarily involves supporting daily operations during evening hours. As needed, you will drive to Ängelholm and Båstad to empty individual bins left over from the day's regular routes. However, the majority of the work consists of taking care of our garbage trucks after the daytime production has ended.

You will be responsible for tasks such as:

• Driving and tipping garbage trucks at the Filborna recycling facility in Helsingborg
• Washing and cleaning the vehicles inside and out
• Refilling food waste bags and other materials
• Fueling and preparing the trucks for the next day's routes
• Performing minor evening pickups in Ängelholm and Båstad as needed

This is an important role where you help the operation run smoothly for the next working day.

Competencies

• C-driver's license
• Valid YKB certification
• Experience in transport and heavy traffic is an advantage
• Advantage if you are technically inclined and can perform simple repairs and troubleshooting
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
