Summer Job at Orkla in Eslöv

The cucumber season has finally begun! The cucumbers are now being harvested, and 12 hectic and fun weeks await at Orkla in Eslöv. Are you a student who wants the opportunity to work at a constantly developing workplace while gaining valuable experience for your future career? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

The work is varied, and you will have significant responsibility. Much of the work involves monitoring, controlling, and contributing to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and quality work. You will be a crucial team player. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy working in a high-paced environment, be comfortable with physical work, and not be afraid to put in effort when needed. Working hours are arranged in 3 shifts, and the season is expected to last 10–12 weeks, starting in week 28. The upcoming season depends on the summer weather and wind, so flexibility is required, and work weeks may vary depending on the cucumber supply.

• Duties may include:

• Sorting cucumbers at the line.
• Cleaning machines and areas in the production facility.
• Operating machines, such as starting and stopping them.
• Determining which samples need to be taken from selected products.
• Driving pallets with a forklift (if you have a forklift license).

To be considered for the seasonal position at Orkla, it is important that you:

• Preferably have a driver's license and access to a car.
• Are studying or have another commitment at 50% and can provide proof of this.
• Can work full-time in 3 shifts during the period week 28–38.
• Have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Share Orkla's values; you are bold, inspiring, and reliable!

It is an advantage if you have a forklift license and previous production experience.

About you:

We are looking for individuals who are quality-conscious and orderly. As a person, we see you as flexible, cooperative, and structured in your work. Orkla continuously works on improvement processes regarding their machines and food standards; therefore, we expect you to be proactive and able to identify risks and opportunities. You are a reliable team player who enjoys working closely with your team. Furthermore, you should be technically interested and computer literate. We would also appreciate it if you were interested in working extra shifts at Orkla's other departments outside of the season.
