About the job

As a nursing assistant, you play a vital role in society. Do you want to develop within a future-oriented industry and make it possible for the residents at Bjöla Care and Housing to live a dignified and meaningful life? Due to study leave and retirement, we are looking for two new colleagues.

Bjöla is beautifully located near the sea at Näset in Västra Frölunda. There are 64 apartments intended for people with dementia. There are nice walking paths and a lovely garden that is used frequently during the summer months. Here at Bjöla, content-rich days are created through various types of activities for the residents.

We value your commitment and competence. You are the one who makes everyday life function and become meaningful. In your work, you focus on the health of the resident and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual conditions in their own home, which is part of the care and housing facility.

The tasks include everything from personal care, support around meals, encouragement and support in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. You are also a contact person who helps the resident formulate their needs and wishes.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• is educated as a nursing assistant, can show the Social Insurance Agency's certificate of protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new rules were introduced.
• is computer literate for documentation in IT systems
• has good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing to communicate effectively with others

It is an advantage if you have:

• further education in care and nursing
• work experience from care and nursing work

You are friendly and helpful towards other people even in stressful situations. You show respect for everyone you meet at work. You work to ensure the resident gets what they need.
