Experienced Chef Wanted for Permanent Position – Fisky Business Dockan

Fisky Business is now looking for an experienced and self-reliant chef for a permanent position in the kitchen.

We run a restaurant with a clear focus on fish and shellfish, where both the lunch menu and à la carte offerings maintain a high standard. The business is well-established, and the pace varies between calmer service periods and intense weekends featuring larger groups, networking events, and three-course dinners. Therefore, we are looking for someone who thrives in a professional kitchen where structure, teamwork, and quality are paramount.

At our restaurant, we prepare ingredients from scratch and place great emphasis on craftsmanship. Bread is baked in-house, stocks are made from the ground up, and we use semi-finished products as little as possible. Attention to detail and respect for the ingredients are integral parts of our working method.

The kitchen team typically consists of 2–4 people who support each other and take responsibility for the overall operation. The work schedule includes varying lunch, evening, and weekend services.

For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity for long-term career development within the business, as we have a need for a new head chef role.

• Has several years of experience working in a professional restaurant kitchen
• Is confident and efficient in à la carte service
• Can work independently and take responsibility during service
• Has good organizational skills and maintains high standards even under stress
• Is a team player with a professional attitude
• Takes responsibility for hygiene, order, and quality in the kitchen
