At God Assistans, we are looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant to support and facilitate the daily life of Julia. Care is the foundation of everything we do and is essential to providing the best possible personal assistance. We are currently seeking a passionate individual who wants to become a valuable part of our team.

As a personal assistant, you will work with Julia, a cheerful 13-year-old girl. Julia is happy, patient, and playful. She uses a wheelchair and needs a great assistant who is there wherever her limits end. Julia has epilepsy and a feeding tube. Experience in this area is an advantage but not a requirement.

A work shift includes among other things:

• Helping with most daily activities, including personal hygiene, transfers, interacting and communicating with her surroundings, and playing.
• Assisting Julia with administering medication/food via the feeding tube.
• Helping Julia with daily chores such as dressing/undressing, meals, and exercise.
• Assisting with transfers, which may involve heavy lifting.
• Joining Julia on outings, swimming, or movie nights.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is over 18 years old
• Speaks fluent Swedish and has good communication skills.
• Is a non-smoker
• Has experience in personal assistance (a big plus, but not required)
• Is a secure person with good self-confidence.
• Is playful and wants to fill Julia's time with both security and laughter.
• Is easy-going, inventive, happy, curious, and takes initiative.

Working hours and location
At Julia's home, weekdays during school term between 16:00-20:30
Awake night shift 20:30-08:00
Weekends 09:00-20:30
Summer schedule: Weekdays 08:00-16:00

Salary and benefits
We offer:

• Collective agreement
• Individual salary setting.
• Health promotion allowance of up to 4000 SEK/year.
• Support in the form of training and introductory sessions for new employees.

• In accordance with God Assistans Policy, we require a criminal record extract for everyone working with children.

• We will require a copy of passport (SE) or residence permit (EU) or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU)
