About the Workplace

Arctic Camp Jokkmokk is a successful 4-star camping facility, beautifully located by the Lilla Lule River close to nature. We are a family camp that won Campers Choice for best winter camping in 2025.

We are now looking for you who want to take responsibility for our facility as a Maintenance Manager and contribute to our continued development as an attractive year-round destination.

Responsibilities

You are our main maintenance manager and are responsible for ensuring the facility operates smoothly in everyday life. This means you identify what needs to be done and get it done. You plan and drive your work independently, while collaborating closely with reception and cleaning staff. We are a small team where everyone helps out, and it is natural to support other parts of the business when needed. The work involves practical outdoor work year-round.

This is a role for you who are unpretentious and see the big picture, where the guest experience always comes first.

Ongoing maintenance and repairs
Supervision of buildings, service houses, and technical installations
Area management (snow clearing, lawn mowing, etc.)
Preparations for different seasons
Waste management and some laundry handling
Maintenance of vehicles and machinery

The work is varied and practical – from urgent problem-solving to planned maintenance. During the summer, you work together with seasonal staff. As needed, you also support other parts of the business, such as cleaning or simpler service tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who thrives working independently and taking responsibility for their area. You are practical, solution-oriented, and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are unpretentious and have a natural attitude towards helping out where needed. With us, it is important to be able to switch between tasks and contribute to the whole.

You don't need to know everything – but you need drive, a willingness to learn, and the ability to get things done.

Requirements

Experience in property maintenance or similar practical work
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Basic computer skills

Meritorious

Experience from camping, hotels, or the visitor industry
Knowledge in electrical work, plumbing, or carpentry
Valid driver's license (Category BE)
Experience in service work
Additional languages, preferably German

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Permanent position
Duration: Permanent
Working hours: Primarily daytime hours, but evenings and weekends occur. On-call duty is included in the role.
Salary: The salary range for this position is between 25,000 – 30,000 SEK/month on a full-time basis. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
