Kristallen is a small unit focusing on respite/short-term care. The care unit has 8 places and receives patients/customers with a dementia diagnosis. Kristallen is part of Solbackens vård- och omsorgsboende.

About the role

You are the hub for the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in operations. You plan medical care for patients residing at Kristallen on a rotating basis (2 weeks at a time) or who need recovery before returning home.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you is "Leading without being a manager".

As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital induction program together with your mentor to ensure you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into work and our routines.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years in elderly care and have experience with dementia care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
