We are looking for you who are a trained preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license, or are currently awaiting your license, and who want to help develop our preschool inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

We are looking for someone driven by the desire to develop pedagogical processes in practice and who wants to make a difference in children's learning and development. You lead the work team and the group of children based on the curriculum and the preschool's governing documents, and you work consciously to create a safe, creative, and inspiring environment for every child.

Experience with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach is an advantage. You have the ability to lead pedagogical processes, create engagement within the work team, and contribute to a reflective and developing teaching culture as well as a professional working climate.

Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, are required.

We are a small independent preschool located in Rågsved with a strong commitment to children's learning, creativity, and development.

At our preschool, we work inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach in project groups where children's curiosity, questions, and interests are at the center. We focus heavily on children's linguistic, creative, and exploratory development through teaching based on participation, joy of discovery, and meaningful contexts.

We place great importance on creating inspiring and creative learning environments where children have the opportunity to express themselves through various aesthetic languages and develop their own ideas and theories.

Outdoor activities and movement are a natural part of our operations. We regularly organize excursions in the local area as well as longer trips to parks, museums, nature areas, and other attractions that enrich children's learning and experiences.

Sustainable development permeates our work. We work consciously with the environment, nature, and cycles where children are involved in the entire process and get to develop an understanding of how human actions affect our surroundings.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you should be well-versed in the curriculum and the governing documents that the preschool must adhere to.

In planning the pedagogical work, you base your approach on the curriculum's goals and intentions as well as the children's interests, needs, and questions.

You are responsible for leading and developing the pedagogical work together with colleagues and the principal, ensuring that the operations and teaching maintain high quality and meet the curriculum's goals and requirements.

We place great emphasis on children's participation and influence. Together with the children, we create creative and exploratory environments where their curiosity is valued and where the teachers act as present, encouraging, and positive role models.

Good cooperation with colleagues and guardians is an important part of the work. Together, we work to create a safe, educational, and inspiring preschool for all children.
