Designgymnasiet in Sickla was established in 2006 and offers vocational and university-preparatory programs; the Arts Program – interior design, fashion design, and graphic design, as well as the Technology Program – product design, architecture, and design. We also offer the nationally recruiting Design program and sewing technology education. Approximately 320 students attend the school.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Swedish and who are passionate about your profession and committed to ensuring all your students succeed. You can navigate between individual and group settings by being flexible and varying your teaching methods. You work formatively, always seeing possibilities and new solutions to problems, and you enjoy taking responsibility for both students' knowledge development and the school's continuous improvement work. You are passionate about your subject and wish to continuously develop as a teacher.

You are organized and make the goals clear to students, showing them how you will work together to achieve them. You are a good leader who, with a relational approach, both inspires and enthuses your students. You are computer literate and work digitally every day with shared documents and planning, both with students and colleagues.

Since one of our Swedish teachers will be on study leave, we are now looking for a new substitute. The position is 60% and is a temporary contract between August 10, 2026, and June 18, 2027. The position includes Swedish Level 1 and Level 2. It also includes study time and mentorship.
