IT Project Manager – Data Center Relocation

We are currently looking for a senior IT Project Manager for a mission-critical assignment in Stockholm.

The assignment involves leading the relocation of an existing data center to a new location. The role requires a person with strong technical understanding, experience in data center moves, and excellent ability to coordinate multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders in complex and mission-critical environments.

The environment is business-critical as central systems are hosted in the data center, which places high demands on risk management, continuity planning, and precise coordination throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the data center relocation from planning to execution
• Coordinate technical teams, business units, and external vendors
• Ensure risk management and continuity planning
• Coordinate network and firewall-related activities
• Responsible for dialogue and negotiations with the data center provider
• Report to the steering group and management
• Ensure progress and coordination between multiple stakeholders and contact points

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in leading data center/data hall relocations
• Good technical understanding of infrastructure, networks, and operational environments
• Experience working closely with technical teams and specialists
• Understanding of risks and dependencies in mission-critical environments
• Experience in complex project management and stakeholder management
• Experience in vendor dialogues and negotiations
• Excellent communication skills

• Location: Stockholm
• Start: Immediately
• Scope: Initially full-time, thereafter approx. 2–3 days per week
