About the Role

As an operational buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly. This is the role for you if you are driven by a combination of order and structure in ERP systems and business dialogues with suppliers. In addition to the daily flow from order to invoice, you will have a unique opportunity here to support strategic projects – a perfect springboard for you who want to develop quickly within purchasing.

Responsibilities

The role primarily involves operational purchasing work with a focus on order management, delivery monitoring, and supplier dialogue, as well as administrative support and data analysis for the purchasing team.

• Handling of purchase orders (from requisition to order/confirmation)
• Follow-up on deliveries and preventing discrepancies
• Purchasing administration and analysis of purchasing data in ERP systems (material lists, parameters, etc.)
• Daily dialogue with suppliers regarding production and deliveries
• Support strategic projects focusing on category management and total cost impact on purchased materials

We are looking for someone who

• Has some years of experience in order and invoice processing where you have worked with purchasing
• Has administrative experience and can quickly adapt to new business systems, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite
• Experience with the business system Microsoft D365
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as these are used daily in the work

It is an advantage if you have

• Knowledge of specific purchasing processes and corporate structures
• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Relevant post-secondary education in purchasing or economics
