About the role

As a mathematics teacher here, you are responsible for teaching Mathematics Level 1 for our vocational students. The position is at 50%, which gives you great flexibility and is perfect for you who might combine the position with studies, entrepreneurship, or wish to reduce working hours.

The position can be combined with a 50% substitute position as an EHT coordinator.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct lessons adapted for vocational preparatory programs.
• Adapt teaching to students' individual needs and prerequisites.
• Actively work to connect mathematical concepts to students' future professional roles.
• Join one of our work teams where we collaborate regarding students' overall well-being and results.
• Mentoring is included in the position.

Who are you?

We are looking for a confident educator who thrives in an environment where relationships are important and where you can translate mathematics into practical vocational knowledge. You have the ability to create calm in the classroom and can explain the same concept in several different ways until "the lightbulb goes on".

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in mathematics (qualification for upper secondary school is meritorious).
• Has experience with, or a strong interest in, vocational pedagogy.
• Is flexible, unpretentious, and has a good ability to collaborate with colleagues in other subjects.
• Possesses strong patience and a positive view of students.
