Södertörns Simsällskap is one of Sweden's largest swimming clubs with over 2,500 members. Since 1967, we have developed swimmers from beginners to national team level.

We operate in several swimming halls in Huddinge and Haninge, working based on the Swedish Swimming Line with the goal of being a modern, successful, and developmental association.

About the position

We are looking for a broad responsibility coordinator for swimming school, technique school, and adult activities at Huddinge Hall. The role also includes teaching in groups.

You will work together with other broad responsibility coordinators and the head of broad responsibility, responsible for:

  • Ensuring quality and safety in teaching.
  • Planning lessons and pool schedules.
  • Recruiting, introducing, and supervising swimming teachers.
  • Handling administration related to the operations.
  • Monitoring budgets and operational goals.
  • Managing member and parent contacts.
  • Participating in meetings and internal training.
  • Handling attendance cards and LOK reporting.
  • Monitoring development goals according to the Swimming Line.
  • Contributing to the development of operations (holiday activities, private lessons, etc.).

Experience and knowledge

You are structured, take initiative, and have the ability to get things done.

You also have:

  • Experience in goal-oriented management and follow-up.
  • Ability to work structured and set goals.
  • Leadership experience (meritorious).

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic education.
  • Education within Swedish Swimming, at least at the swimming teacher level.
  • CPR certification.
  • Licensed swimming teacher or a plan to become one.

Other

The position is a one-year fixed-term full-time employment (40 hours/week), of which approx. 20 hours as a broad responsibility coordinator and 20 hours as a swimming teacher/coach/operations staff.

The work takes place mainly in the evenings and on weekends. Work in other swimming halls may occur if needed.

Employment is subject to a collective agreement with Unionen/Idrott.
