Software Development Project Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager within software development for a long-term assignment in the automotive industry in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will work as a Release Leader, responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of software deliveries for complete electrical vehicle systems. You will play a central role in driving and leading the work throughout the entire release process – from development to final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate software deliveries for complete electrical systems
• Ensure deliveries meet quality standards and are ready for release
• Plan releases and prioritize the resolution of identified issues
• Work on debugging and coordination between different functions and teams
• Drive and monitor integration and delivery processes
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in large-scale software development and integration-driven development
• Experience with CI/CD processes in software
• Good understanding of integration work within electrical systems
• Experience in technical project management or release management
• Very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Experience from the automotive industry and previous work in complex development organizations is considered a merit.
